An important, but rarely discussed topic came up the other night: Sluts. I know, this is my first post in a very long time and starting by saying that suggests that I may have gone insane. But I believe this is an important issue that needs to be put to rest.
My Challenge
I want anyone who disagrees with me on these issues to publicly answer these questions:
1. Define, in detail, what a slut is. This means you can't say, "A person who has a lot of sex." Use actual numbers. How many sexual partners makes someone a slut?
2. Explain why it is bad for someone to have sexual intercourse with other people.
You can answer these via youtube video, twitter, or really any other way as long as I have permission to post your response on this website.

So, What Is This About?
The other night, my friend attempted to argue that Taylor Swift is a slut. This friend is notorious for saying people are sluts so I decided to finally say something. I challenged him by asking how many people you have to have sex with in order to be a slut. I never got a response to this question, but I did get called a fan girl and told that I'm just defending Swift because I like her music (which I do, but it is irrelevant to the discussion). Let's point out some fallacies so far: fan girl would be an ad hominem, and saying that I am arguing about this only because I'm a fan would I guess be considered false cause.
The reason I felt like I had to make this comment to my friend is because this same lack-of-logic style of thinking is what promotes religion, the state, the drug war, and so much more that is wrong with society. Let me break down this connection.
1. This is something that can't be accurately defined. You can't place a number on when someone turns from regular person to a slut.
2. This is something that affects no one else, but people feel the need to control it.
What other things share these qualities? Let's start with drugs.
1. Drugs can't be easily defined. Some drugs are considered ok, others aren't. Some groups of people say drug x is ok, others don't. There is no definitive list of good and bad drugs. It's all just opinion.
2. Drugs only affect the user. If a guy in Minnesota buys coke today, that affects me no more than a guy in Tennessee buying a car.
So, let's talk about our two good friends, Religion and the State
Religion is probably the oldest and arguably the most successful when it comes to these situations. Religions have told people that sex before marriage will result in burning for eternity (Christianity), that not memorizing every line in a silly book will...I don't know what happens to Muslims when they die, but, that (Islam), or that not praying to an elephant enough will make you come back to like as an animal (It's about damn time people start shitting on Eastern religions too).
The State has also been very successful in convincing people that their rules are the only moral way to live life. If you use non-FDA approved drugs, then you obviously deserve to be locked in a cage. If you drive without a seat belt, then you have to give money to the State. If you fish without a fishing license, then you are Satan.
What do all of these things have in common? They affect no one. Here's a list, tell me how me doing any of these will affect you:
1. sex before marriage
2. not memorizing every line in a silly book
3. not praying to an elephant enough
4. use non-FDA approved drugs
5. drive without a seat belt
6. fish without a fishing license
In conclusion...
Do whatever the fuck you want to do. If you want to have consensual sex with every person on this planet, go for it. If you want to shove a fire cracker up your ass, why the fuck would I care. If you want to burn your own house down just for the fuck of it, just make sure it doesn't touch my shit.
Below I put 2 relevant Doug Stanhope videos. If you've never heard of him, he's a hilarious comedian who uses logic and reasoning in his act. The first video should skip to 10:05, but weebly doesn't always work like that so the link is below.
